Thanks for poppin' in!

My name is Rachael

Heyyyyyyy, fancy seeing you here... :)

Let me introduce myself. I am a 22 year old, fully self taught photographer. My love for photography began way back in the year 2015... Wow, that feels like forever ago. I got my first camera that year, and started taking what were quite honestly horrible photos of anything that piqued my interest. I was just a little girl with a camera, running around finding out what made me truly happy. After spending a few years leaning all of the things, I decided I wanted to take the next step in my photography journey.

In 2019 I started officially charging for my work, and started prioritizing portrait photography. That is when everything changed. I began to realize I held the power to freeze peoples happiest, saddest, most meaningful and most emotional memories in time forever. Those little moments you may forget in a few years? I am there to capture them. The faces and the smiles of loved ones who aren't here anymore, that laugh you shared with them on your wedding day. Those happy tears from your partner as you walk down the aisle, that hug you share with your father, all to never be forgotten. I live to capture your love and freeze your dearest memories in time.

My personal life

I am happily engaged to my wonderful, amazing fiancé, Dutt. Our wedding is June of 2027, and we could not be more excited. At home we have two cats, and two dogs who we consider our children. With my free time I enjoy spending time with him, our "children" and I am an avid gym-goer here in Mount Pleasant. We also enjoy hitting beaches on Lake Michigan, walking nature trails with our pups, and relaxing inside in front of the TV. Other than that, about 75% of my time is devoted strictly to my passion, photography. I wouldn't change it for the world. I absolutely love what I do, and it makes me happy every single day. Regardless of the stress it may bring at times. This is what I was born to do, and I will continue to capture your most treasured memories until the day I can no longer pick up a camera.

I can't wait to meet you. Thanks for reading

Lots of love,

Rachael
